Giving is at the root of the Plymold business. Our employee-owned business was established from the philanthropic roots of our founder, Harold Nielsen, who sold his business to the employees who helped him grow it. Pete Ackerman was our COO and an employee owner at Plymold, he helped grow and shape this company while believing that giving back was an important part of living and working in a local community, Pete truly embodied our core values. The Employee Ownership Committee is proud to announce we will be providing opportunities for qualified individuals to receive this $500 Pete Ackerman Memorial Scholarship to support plans to continue their education beyond high school. The scholarships are not awarded based on financial need or scholastic achievement; rather provide the opportunity for continuing education financial assistance to any student who shows leadership and community involvement in their community outside of scholastic activities.
