Long Time Employee Celebrates 60 Year Work Anniversary

The year is 1963: JFK is president, Beatlemania is in its infancy, and the zip code system is being introduced.
If you are Jim Miner, you just started a new job at Foldcraft. Little did he know that this would job lead to a 60-year and counting career at Plymold (formerly Foldcraft). Through the years, he’s worked in a variety of roles on the operations team and has been employee of the month more than once.
Jim is a lifelong Minnesota Twins baseball fan and to help him celebrate his 60th work anniversary, we coordinated a trip to Target field for Jim and his extended family. The day began in Kenyon with a coach bus waiting to take the Miner clan up to Minneapolis. Everyone was given a Twins baseball shirt with the number 60 on the front and Miner on the back. The group of 22 included 4 generations!
The group had a fantastic time, even though the home team lost 6-2 to the division-leading Baltimore Orioles.
Thank you to Jim for his dedication and hard work over the past 60 years. This is a rare milestone and we are proud to have been part of it!
